Time Change and Surf Report

The first day of time change is always a challenge for me. I have to readjust my internal clock to the new hour's difference.  A very good friend said that after time change she counts the days to December 21 because then she knows the long days of summer are going to return.  Therefore I am going to start a new tradition and give the surf report.  Watching Kelly Slater win his eleventh world title twice this week has given me a new interest and it makes me happy. I know that the tide changes twice a day two high tides and two low tides.  I missed the kayaking summer because of the fact that my friend is watching kids and suffering from shoulder pain.  I missed the whales this year but heard there were many sighting this past August-September inside of Morro Bay. The weather has changed to cold and blustery. We are now about to embark on a very cold and tense winter so be sure to get those wetsuits and long coats down from the attic or out of moth balls.

Disney today is the greatest propagandist in the World

Just went to see Lion King 3 D with my niece and found it to be a refresher course in the Walt Disney propaganda machine and their troubling concept of monarchy.  Let us not forget that one of the most troubling aspects of relying of the first offspring of a king or queen to take over the kingdom is the unreliability of that son or daughter or next in line for the succession is their capabilities.  Most of the time this did not work out and many times there was the constant threat of murder and conspirators.  The lion king gave the impression that a King can solve the problems in Pride Rock.  Lets hope the children are being taught the valuable lessons of real history? Or are we teaching more fantasy?  Fantasy is a nice escape but we must know the difference.

This is my learned reality, human life only has a twenty five year period in which we are MOST productive. The years between twenty five and fifty.  After fifty if one is made up of good stock and very innovative and lucky they might get another twenty years of mentoring and passing on experience.  This is no fantasy and its reality. Here's why, after fifty years your eyes and hearing begin to fade.  Your stamina and reflexes begin to fade and even though you are being told that you are as young as you feel it just is not true. A happy heart and clear mind is always a great blessing but don't kid yourself by thinking these things will always be yours.  These are scary times because of all the information and disinformation that is surrounding us every day.  We must return to honesty and stop pretending that the world revolves around our every move. We must be mindful of our frailties and accept our mortality.  Do not squander your youth or your money.  God Bless and good luck. 

This is my first posting for my life coach blog and I welcome you, the desperate and forlorn; the content and the happy.  There are few who know of this power.  This is my introduction to helping those who find themselves in the storm of life.  My philosophy is that love and laughter is for everyone.  There are many places and people who would take your soul and enslave you.  The pitfalls are many because of those who desire to own and manipulate you.  They will hound you and make you believe they are on your side.  They are the "vampires" and "pusher-man" of our day.  The power is within all of us to be strong and brave.  Only our own strength can sustain us.  It is the individual who must weather the storm.  The collective will drown you.  We must use our integrity and intuition to stand up for what is right.  I have a life time of experience dealing with the light and dark forces of this world.  You will become stronger and happier the longer you go deep inside yourself.  We can become friends and walk the path of righteousness.
