Movie Theater Violence

Last night I went to the movies for the first time after the Colorado shootings.  I must say the image of a person standing in front gunning down the audience is horrific.  I was there to see the Expendables 2 which is an over the top action/thriller with all of my generation action actors.  Arnold, Chuck, Bruce, and you name 'em.  I saw all the explosions of just about every explosive device known to modern man with the exception of the atom bomb.  I can only prey for the future generations to make a better statement than mine has. I pray that they will be given the disernment to know the difference between reality and fantasy.  They do not slip into the mind numbing and hazzing of narcotics and psychotrophic prescriptions that alter brain chemestry.

This early morning I heard on the radio about the apparent suicide of Tony Scott who directed Top Gun. One of my favorite movies of all time.  I loved that movie and it really effected me.  I don't understand suicide and have a difficult time believing it.  As I blogged only his family and those close to him might know him enough to put the pieces together.  Right now there is so much going on and who can put the pieces together again?  Some very wonderful people have lost their lives to soon, and to young.  Sometimes its tough to make any sence of life and death.  I just know that Love and Laughter is for everyone and renewal comes with the dawn.  Renewal comes with the birth of a new baby and the change of a new day.  Faith in God must follow the mist, the light of sun, the moon and the stars.
